Francescas Italian Kitchen Case Study – Branding Success
This case study showcases how I helped establish Francesca’s as a local favorite through smart, cohesive branding and strategic marketing. From community engagement to visual identity, I used a well-rounded approach to create a beloved, high-visibility dining experience.

Italian restaurant branding for Francesca’s Italian Kitchen, a new dining spot in Vero Beach, FL, needed a strong brand presence to capture the balance between fine and casual dining. My role encompassed complete brand identity creation, marketing strategy, and event planning to support the restaurant’s opening and long-term success.

Brand Identity Creation

Developed branding inspired by the restaurant’s coastal location, interior aesthetic, and target audience preferences. Created a balanced visual palette with colors and typography that reflect both elegance and simplicity.

Product Photography

Product photography played a key role in the site’s success. I captured standout images of signature dishes, desserts, and interiors to showcase Francesca’s ambiance and culinary artistry. These images were used across the website and social media, reinforcing a cohesive brand presence across platforms.

Website Design / Online Ordering

Platform Selection: Chose Squarespace for its user-friendly interface and seamless integration with the restaurant’s POS system.

Online Ordering Integration: Implemented a streamlined Squarespace Commerce system allowing customers to browse a 100+ item menu, view high-quality photos, and place orders easily. Online orders increased within the first 30 days,

Digital Strategy / Social Media Growth

Built Francesca’s online presence and grew reach organically across platforms.

Facebook Business Page: Launched and optimized the business page, gaining 600+ likes in 2 months.
Google Business, Yelp, and TripAdvisor: Claimed and branded profiles with custom graphics to boost visibility.
Instagram Growth: Organically grew followers to 1K+ in 3 months using creative, indirect content strategies.

Leveraging local connections and community presence by organizing an invitation-only soft opening and personally inviting key community figures and media outlets. Coordinated hand-delivered invitations and was the event photographer, capturing impactful images to build brand reputation.

Set up and optimized a Facebook page that grew to over 600 likes within months through community engagement and organic reach.
