Francescas Italian Kitchen Case Study – Branding Success
This case study highlights my restaurant branding, community engagement, and strategic marketing expertise. I use a well-rounded approach to successfully establish Francesca’s as a local favorite, showcasing the impact of cohesive branding and innovative marketing strategies in creating a memorable and beloved dining experience.

Italian restaurant branding for Francesca’s Italian Kitchen, a new dining spot in Vero Beach, FL, needed a strong brand presence to capture the balance between fine and casual dining. My role encompassed complete brand identity creation, marketing strategy, and event planning to support the restaurant’s opening and long-term success.

Brand Identity Creation

Developed branding based on the restaurant’s coastal location, interior aesthetic, and target audience preferences. Created a balanced visual palette with colors and typography that reflect elegance and simplicity.

Product Photography

Professional photography played a central role in the website’s success. I captured stunning images of Francesca’s signature dishes, desserts, and restaurant interiors, showcasing the restaurant’s ambiance and culinary artistry. These photos were used throughout the website and repurposed for social media content, creating a cohesive brand presence across platforms.

Website Design / Online Ordering

Platform Selection: Squarespace was chosen for its user-friendly interface and seamless Integration with the restaurant’s existing systems, ensuring an aesthetically pleasing yet functional website.

Online Ordering Integration: I implemented a streamlined online ordering system using Squarespace Commerce. This system allowed customers to browse a menu of over 100 items, view high-quality photographs, and place orders easily.

Digital Strategy / Social Media Growth

Established Francesca’s online presence and grew its reach organically.

Facebook Business Page: Created and optimized the page, achieving 600+ likes in 2 months through community engagement.
Google Business, Yelp, and TripAdvisor: Claimed and optimized profiles with designed graphics, enhancing search visibility.
Instagram Growth: Organically increased Instagram followers to over 1000 through creative, indirect management strategies within 3 months.

Leveraging local connections and community presence by organizing an invitation-only soft opening and personally inviting key community figures and media outlets. Coordinated hand-delivered invitations and was the event photographer, capturing impactful images to build brand reputation.
